We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager with aerospace experience for our location in Carlstadt, NJ.
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for technical and administrative leadership of the Manufacturing Engineering group within Operations. This manager provides manufacturing engineering process direction and leadership to manufacturing engineers supporting production and new product components.
40% - Provides manufacturing engineering process direction and leadership to manufacturing engineers supporting production and new product components.
25% - Develops and utilizes processes that promote continuous improvement using lean manufacturing tools.
20% - Works closely with program management, engineering and Quality to provide timely and qualified technical support to customer needs and requirements.
15% - Provides coaching and mentoring for career development and advancement of team members.
Requires a Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
U.S. Citizenship required. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.

Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a manufacturing environment, as well as standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit or stand and maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 25 pounds; may require occasional walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. Work requires the ability to change into or out of personal protective equipment when entering or exiting manufacturing, laboratory, or other areas. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
