The intern will assist in the User Acceptance Testing of the clinical databases to ensure that the study meets the defined requirements and is in compliance with SOPs and Quality Policies for the EDC (Electronic Data Capture Systems). The intern will work under the supervision of more senior data management personnel.Responsibilities and Job Duties Enter "test" data on the Electronic Data Capture (EDC) database to ensure the data collection fields are formatted correctly and the edit checks (database designer) are programmed and performing correctly. Review data listings for data inconsistencies and generate resulting queries in the clinical database for the sites to address. Review data listings and identify potential data queries that will assist in the cleaning of data for a study. Generate data management metrics for Data Managers. Run reports from EDC and generate the data based on the template provided. Review lab normal ranges for a study and generate the appropriate Lab IDs.Minimum QualificationsEducation, Certifications, & Experience Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in a science or health-related fieldKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Great attention to detail Must be able to differentiate between logical and non-logical data elements Able to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time Works well in a collaborative environmentStatementMacroGenics is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
