Position overview

The Sales Inventory & Ops Planning (SIOP) intern will assist the team by providing information and presentation materials for demand, supply, financial reconciliation and executive reviews.

There are five steps in our SIOP process: Data Collection, Demand, Supply, Financial Reconciliation, and Executive Reviews. The process aligns the customer & business needs with financials for decision-making.

This position allows the intern to get a macro-level view of the aerospace business and our customers. The intern will interact with our program managers, operations partners, and finance professionals. Following this internship, the candidate will have a wide network of Collins employees to develop relationships for future opportunities within the business.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support monthly demand reviews for each program by providing information, summaries, and action item logs for the reviews.
• Work with our supply sites and supply chain partners to provide information, summaries, and action item logs. The outcomes from these reviews feed Financial Reconciliation and Executive Reviews.

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
• Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder
