Posting Summary | The Covey Lab invites applications for a Postdoctoral position to begin immediately. The successful candidate will contribute creatively to ongoing research related to understanding the role of the adaptive immune system in autoimmunity and inflammation using mouse models. Responsibilities associated with this position include the ability to work independently on a project and use techniques that can measure cellular and molecular responses of immune cells. The ability to troubleshoot problems and develop research plans is a requisite for this position. |

Minimum Education and Experience | A Ph.D. in a relevant biomedical field is required and experience working either in the molecular biology, immunology and/or neurobiology field is strongly preferred. Experience and preference for working productively in a collaborative environment is a strong plus. |

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities | Necessary skills include standard molecular biology and extensive cell culture techniques. Experience with mouse work, immunological assays and/or immunohistochemistry of tissues is also desirable but not absolutely required.
