Minimum Education and Experience | This person is expected to have a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. Previous laboratory experience is required. Must have experience and be comfortable working with mice. Must have evidence of publications (including pre-prints and/or submitted manuscripts) demonstrating lab research skills and desired skills sets. Must be willing to work flexible hours in order to accommodate the needs of the lab and ensure animal wellbeing. |

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities | Preference will be given to candidates with backgrounds in vascular biology, neuroscience, neuroimmunology, and/or a combination of these disciplines. Experience with mouse stereotactic surgeries is highly desired. Experience with molecular techniques is also preferable and soft computer programming skills are a plus. Experience with confocal microscopy is also preferred. |
