The WCR Stress testing Team is responsible for delivering Stress testing related solutions to Citi's risk & finance organization which manages Citi's exposure to financial institutions, governments and corporates that trade with Citi. The team engineers, builds and maintains software used to compute metrics that help mitigate Citi's exposure to counterparty default & help meet regulations like CECL, GSST, IFRS9, CCAR.

What will you do?

  • Implement roadmap technologies and processes to improve automation and regression testing as well as automated CI/CD pipelines and release deployment capabilities based on the needs of the engineering teams.
  • Serve as a DevOps subject matter expert in processes and methodologies with the ability to adapt and improvise in different situations
  • Work side by side with other engineering leaders to ensure CI/CD pipeline key integration to drive product quality
  • Implement performance testing, scalability and security testing practices and methodologies
  • Ability to communicate clearly and drive solution implementation globally
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of how technology integrates within Citi and of competitors products and services
  • Proactively participate in platform design and review activities and continuously improve software engineering practices
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills and presence
  • Collaborate with and across team to design, build and deliver high quality software meeting and exceeding client needs

Basic Requirements

  • 12+ years of relevant experience in an Engineering role with extensive experience in software delivery as well as automation.
  • 5+ years of experience with programming and scripting skills
  • 3+ years of experience in Programming Languages: Java, Python, Bash
  • 3+ years of experience in low latency monolith and microservice applications
  • 3+ years of experience with cloud solutions, preferably OpenShift
  • 3+ years of experience creating automation frameworks and tools to support test automation
  • Good experience on Build & Security scan tool like - Maven, Gradle, Ant, SonarQube, BlackDuck, CyberArk, Snyk
  • Experience of Observability tools such as ELK, AppD, Splunk , Otel, Prometheus, and Grafana
  • Experience as a DevOps/System Engineer, Architect or Technical lead
  • Experience implementing/managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in BDD/TDD practices and automation and performance testing in agile methodology is highly desirable
  • Experience and working knowledge of manual and automated Smoke and Regression testing best practices
  • Understanding of QA Automation workflow and experience on test automation integration with CI/CD
  • Experience working in a large complex and/or global environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the financial industry, specifically in Credit Risk & Market Risk Capital domains.
  • Experience building and deploying modern enterprise applications to public or private clouds including AWS
  • Experience in Distributed cache systems like Apache Ignite; deploying distributable jobs in Spark
  • Experience in Spring Framework and Cloud Computing for both batch and real-time high volume data processing
