Job Summary

This role will lead Contract Operation activities such as membership review, chargebacks, and rebate processing. This position will analyze and interpret implications of commercial contracting decisions and provide suggestions/alternatives as appropriate. Provide oversight for all documentation and procedures in function, as well as being the key contact for internal and external audits. The individual will seamlessly work across the organization in support of operational and business matters. This role will report into the Director, Government Pricing and Contract Operations and collaborate across all functions.

Essential Functions

  • Lead the Contract Operations team ensuring timely and accurate review and processing of claims.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert supporting internal and external business partners on pricing decisions, contract strategies, Gross-to-Net requests, and Business Development initiatives. Perform ad-hoc modeling and financial impact analysis.

  • Serve as business lead to continually improve and maintain efficiency of systems and processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of data flow for reports.

  • Understanding of contract terms and language for payers contracts, GPOs and government entities.

  • Lead and develop team of 3+ members to support finance department and corporate goals, as well as commit to meet all compliance and reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.

  • Experience using Model N GP system, or equivalent.

  • 8+ years' experience in pharmaceutical industry, including 5+ years' experience in pharmaceutical contract operations.

  • Demonstrated critical thinking analytical skills.

  • Ability to communicate to senior leadership and lead cross functional teams.

  • Motivate and guide team members to support finance department and corporate goals, as well as commit to meet all compliance and reporting requirements.
