UI/UX Product Designer - Contract to Hire
Hybrid Role - At this time 2 days in the office required

The Role
We are looking for an experienced Product Designer to join our team and shape the user experience of our data and visualization intensive B2B solutions. You will be part of a cross-functional team building applications on top of our upcoming supply chain management platform.

Key Responsibilities
- User-Centered Design: Lead the design process with a strong focus on user-centered design principles, conducting user research and gathering insights to inform product decisions.
- UI/UX Design: Create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces ensuring a seamless user experience. More focus on UX piece.
- Data Visualization: Design data visualizations and dashboards that enable users to interpret and interact with complex data sets effectively.
- Prototyping: Develop interactive prototypes to demonstrate product functionality and gather feedback from stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to translate business requirements and data analytics into compelling design solutions.
- Communicate complex information using interaction design tools, including journey maps, storyboards, information architecture, user flows, wireframes, etc.
- Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback and data analysis.
- Design System: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system to ensure consistency across products.

Qualifications:

- 8 -10+ years experience
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred or relevant experience to showcase.
- Proven experience as a Product Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing data-heavy B2B solutions.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).
- Experience with data visualization libraries and tools (e.g., D3.js, Tableau).
- Strong understanding of user research methodologies and user testing techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- A passion for solving complex problems through thoughtful and user-centric design.
- An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating relevant experience. Please include a link to your online portfolio or work samples.
