Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Security Solutions Engineer specializing in Endpoint and Cloud Security Technologies to join our newly created cybersecurity team within DTIS- Security Architecture and Engineering area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security solutions that protect our organization's endpoints and cloud infrastructure. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will collaborate with IT teams to ensure the effective integration and continuous improvement of endpoint and cloud security measures, working across different technologies, tools and teams.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Endpoint Security: Design, implement, and manage endpoint security solutions to protect desktops, laptops, servers, and other endpoint devices. Conduct regular assessments of endpoint security posture and implement enhancements as needed.

  • Security Configuration Management: Configure and maintain security settings for endpoint and cloud security technologies. Stay current with industry trends and emerging threats to adjust security configurations accordingly

  • Cloud Security: Implement and manage cloud security controls for platforms such as AWS, or Azure. Collaborate with cloud architects to ensure security best practices are integrated into cloud infrastructure.

  • Security Policy Enforcement: Enforce security policies related to endpoint and cloud security. Work with stakeholders to ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with IT teams and end-users to address operational or security concerns and provide training on endpoint and cloud security best practices. Foster a culture of security awareness within the organization

Why you?Qualifications & Skills:
  • Min. Bachelor's degree in computer science, other relevant discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Three to Five years' experience in general Cyber Security

  • Three years'+ experience implementation and leading IT solutions in Cloud and on-prem.

  • Working knowledge of Security Standards and Frameworks

  • Demonstrated experience with InTune, Crowdstrike and Tenable

  • Experience in cloud computing technologies, including software, infrastructure and platform-as-a-service environments.

  • Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer with a focus on endpoint and cloud security.

  • Experience with cloud security principles, architecture, and best practices.

  • Ability to think strategically and tactically, with effective decision-making skills.

  • Experience providing operational support in a global environment.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication and collaboration skills.

  • Experience in change management and ticket resolution

  • Stakeholder management with internal and external customers

Preferred experience and qualifications:
  • Industry recognized certifications, information security certifications such as CISSP, or CISM, or other evidence of successful performance.

  • 3+ years of professional experience building, deploying, and troubleshooting in a Cloud environment

  • Experience in security domains such as: Incident Response, Application Security, Email Security, Infrastructure Security, Endpoint Security and Response, Detection Engineering, Network Security, Cloud Security, Compliance, Governance, IAM, Risk Management.

We also offer the opportunity to receive a discretionary bonus based on the achievement of key business performance and other incentive/recognition programs as part of the offering. The salary range for this role is: $106,000 to $159,000 plus a 12% bonus.
