Key responsibilities:

  • Incorporating your industry knowledge and experience in QA automation development and tools within Maersk Technology. You will be a champion of industry best-practice within the organisation, advocating for technologies that can improve the way we work.
  • You will part of passionate agile teams focused on building the maturity to existing and new QA automation libraries and frameworks covering functional, integration, usability, accessibility, performance and security test automation.
  • Releasing new and functional builds at any point through the application's life cycle.
  • Be a part of Agile teams and help deliver sprint goals.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement and task estimation
    Help coach with wider team on fail first testing methods and achieve and maintain high quality standards.
  • You may be asked to perform out-of-hours support task.

Ideal candidate traits and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience of developing and implementing fail fast test automation strategies, solutions, frameworks and tests across the development lifecycle and in turn supporting rapid development of automated tests to integrate in CI/CD pipeline.
  • Handson development experience in Playwright/Cypress, Javascript, Rest Assured java library, Java Selenium and good amount of experience in building complex automation scripts
  • Capable of contributing to both manual and automation testing activities as needed.
  • Knowledge on Azure devops
  • Knowledge on Identity and Access management
  • Experience in API Testing using Postman and Swagger
  • Experience of test-driven development (TDD) and behaviour-driven development (BDD) using frameworks such as Cucumber
  • Experience in testing UIs for transactional websites, including multi browser, multi device, multi-platform and multi-language using automated testing.
  • Able to write functional and non-functional testing code through responsive or adaptive techniques.
  • Experience of building test automation using development languages such as JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), XML, jQuery etc
  • Experience of using automated tools such as Selenium Web/IDE, Grid, Browser Stack, Test Complete, Cloud Test, Performance Centre, Jmeter etc.
  • Understands technologies and techniques used in the support of applications, including (but not limited to) logging, monitoring and alerting.
  • Very good understanding of Cloud Native architecture and development
  • Experience in building and maintaining CI pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, ADO, Github Actions

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills and able to articulate technical complexity to be understood by both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing.
  • Ownership of problems until they are resolved.
  • User-focused, whether responding to support queries or developing new features and functionality.
