LPN, Primary Urgent Care, Full Time, Waldwick

POSITION SUMMARY:

***LPN: Performs a variety of direct patient care activities and general office functions in a Center under the supervision of a Charge Nurse, Practice Manager, Director of Clinical Services, and/or Physician/Medical Director. ***RN: Performs a variety of direct patient care activities and general office functions in a Center under the general guidance of the Charge Nurse, Practice Manager, Director of Clinical Services, and/or Physician/Medical Director.

Schedule: 3 days (8-4), at least 2 evenings (12-8)

EDUCATION:

Completion of an associate degree in nursing or an accredited LPN program.



EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinic or outpatient setting, preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS:
Current and valid New Jersey RN or LPN license. Current and valid BCLS certification required. Ability to use effective critical thinking skills (analytical, clinical reasoning, decision-making, problem-solving, time management, etc.). Outstanding interpersonal, service excellence behavior and customer service skills required. Strong orientation towards the provisions of high quality, cost effective and comprehensive medical care. Ability to use effective organizational and time management skills to set priorities and respond quickly to urgent/emergent situations. Strong communication "both oral and written and presentation skills to convey information in a clear and concise manner to persons of varied age groups, customers and/or groups. Ability to create, maintain and support a high functioning team; establish and foster cooperative working relationships with staff and management; and function effectively as part of that team. Demonstrates behavior that is courteous, caring, respectful, and compassionate at all times. Demonstrates ability to listen and respond in a non-judgmental manner, with clear expectations. Demonstrates behavior that is consistent with the Valley Health System's Behavioral Standards, as well as the Valley Health Medical Group's Mission and Vision Statements.
