The Yardi Systems Analyst for Brightview Senior Living is responsible for developing technical solutions to business problems while providing support to existing Yardi software applications.

The Yardi Systems Analyst assists in systems implementation of new Yardi products including writing requirements, developing project plans, UAT scenarios, and communicating them effectively to stakeholders and business partners. Yardi is a leading provider of real estate software, offering an array of products and solutions for all types of businesses. Brightview uses several Yardi senior living products including the Voyager 7S ERP system for senior housing and accounting, Payscan for accounts payable, EHRx for health and wellness charting, and Senior CRM for sales and marketing activities.

Responsibilities

What will you be doing :

  • Develops recommendations surrounding improving processes, efficiency, and practices of the organization's use of the Yardi systems.
  • Documents business requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates system plans to meet overall business goals. Identifies and mitigates risks to successful project completion.
  • Coordinates and plans all phases of the testing lifecycle, including test case development, execution, and defect remediation.
  • Provides technical support to the company's Yardi end users; escalates issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution; monitors support activity to identify trends or emerging issues and recommend solutions and collaborates with other IT personnel to resolve user problems.
  • Tracks all system issues and/or enhancements using Brightview's Help Desk system. Inputs, updates, and closes tickets through Help Desk system. When necessary, escalates issues to appropriate internal or external resources.
  • Monitors emerging applications and available upgrades to Yardi software; recommends enhancements to increase efficiency and data integrity, resolve system challenges, expand functionality, reduce expenses, and meet emerging business needs and opportunities.
  • Partners with internal stakeholders to stay abreast of emerging business needs, changes in policies and/or procedures, regulations, and training needs related to Yardi applications; shares information with software support team and works proactively to support internal stakeholders' needs. Acts as liaison with Yardi to identify, research, and resolve system issues; follows up with Yardi and/or appropriate Brightview personnel to ensure timely resolution.
  • Assists with System Administration of Yardi and other software as applicable, ensuring data integrity and security at all times.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3 years' experience with enterprise software packages, Senior Living and/or Property Management, CRM applications, clinical software, or equivalent combination of education and experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, and project methodology.
  • Experience with the design, development, and implementation of software solutions, systems, or products.
  • Experience managing all aspects of the systems development lifecycle.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency, properly prioritizing issues and projects.
  • Moderate to advanced Excel and data reporting skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including technical writing.
  • Excellent communication skills via telephone, email, and in-person with the ability to connect and communication effectively with associates of all levels.
  • Desire and ability to provide exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to be onsite at communities, including some out of state travel, up to 10% of the time.
  • Basic SQL knowledge a plus.
