As a Senior Director of Facilities and Sanitation, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facilities management and sanitation practices across our Neptune City and Monroe Township facilities.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS:
  • Managing facility budgets, expenses, and contracts with service providers.
  • Planning and executing facility improvement projects, such as renovations, expansions, and new construction.
  • Ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Prepare assets for natural disasters and emergencies.
  • Compliance of Fire Systems Inspections, Repair, Upgrades, and Fire Systems Monitoring.
  • Deployment of Major capital projects and emergency fixes - Roofs, Hot Water, HVAC, Elevators, Fire Alarm/Sprinkler, Parking Lot/Sidewalks, Fences, Pools, Exterior Lighting, Landscaping.
  • Developing and implementing sanitation procedures and protocols to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Training staff on proper sanitation practices and ensuring compliance with hygiene standards.
  • Conducting regular inspections and facility audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to sanitation guidelines.
  • Responding to sanitation-related issues or emergencies promptly and effectively.
  • Identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings in facility operations and sanitation processes.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Operations and Director of Maintenance to develop and ensure adherence to annual budgets for labor and materials. Review monthly utility reports, discuss results, and provide creative solutions to achieve energy management.

IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Professional certifications like FMP, CEM, or PMP preferred.
  • Must possess excellent project management skills, including demonstrated ability to develop and manage a project plan, establish priorities, work to deadlines, and control several projects at various stages of work.
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a team, delegate tasks, and provide coaching and development.
  • Proficient in overseeing facility operations, including repairs, construction projects, budgets, and contracts.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control principles.
  • Skilled in negotiating contracts with vendors and service providers.
  • Ability to identify and solve complex problems related to facilities operations.
  • Contribute to the organization's strategic goals by aligning facilities management with overall objectives.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and codes.
  • White/Black Seal Boiler license a plus.
