JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Business Systems Analyst is a critical business facing role within the Business Technology team. In this role, you will work with leaders of our business units to understand their business strategy and goals in a way that you can help deliver technology solutions that help them work towards their goals.

You will serve as a liaison between the business and our technology teams delivering value through our systems and platforms. The successful candidate enjoys analyzing complicated issues, communicating at multiple levels of an organization, and is thoughtful and organized in their approach. This role works with the Manager, Business Applications.

What you'll do...

  • Working alongside key Human Resources team members, you will learn the business organization, strategy, goals and priorities for the areas supported
  • Help lead roadmap planning for assigned business segments to ensure alignment of priorities
  • Build and manage user stories for the individual work items being requested and delivered
  • Set expectations and communicate proactively on work you're doing with the business
  • Facilitate sessions, collect requirements and provide recommendations to meet those requirements, in support of the functional teams supported
  • Own the operations of the Workday application including system configurations, business process workflows, custom objects, data loads (EIBs), and security
  • Perform a variety of day-to-day HRIS functions ensuring and confirming data integrity and accuracy of all data entered in our Workday instance
  • Build reports using strategies like calculated fields, eligibility rules, or condition rules
  • Own the configuration, testing, and deployment of newly released functionality that may include new modules or new functionality within Workday
  • Develop project plans and other supporting documentation, including business requirements, user stories, business process maps, detailed functional and technical design specifications, and test plans
  • Teammate capable of working independently or in teams working alongside HR Operations, Managed Services, and/or development

Who you are...

  • 3+ years as a business systems analyst or system administrator.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Superb communication and facilitation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with end users and business leaders at varying levels.
  • Knowledge of Workday HRIS required including at least 3 modules such as: Time Tracking, Absence, Talent & Performance, HCM, Benefits, or Advanced Compensation.
  • Workday certifications preferred.
  • Experience with Agile software development or similar methodology.
  • Professional services or consulting experience preferred.

$88,300.00 - $132,300.00
