Position Summary:
The administrative coordinator for the Office of Accessibility Resources and Services and Placement Testing will assist the two offices in implementing procedures to provide reasonable accommodations to students. In addition, the administrative coordinator will help administer English and Math placement assessments.

Essential Functions:
-
Collaborate with academic advisors, faculty, and other campus personnel to ensure a cohesive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help with the distribution of OARS Letter of Accommodation Eligibility.
- Proctor exams as needed.
- Filing of OARS Documents for new students.
- Maintain OARS Website.
- Maintain a list of new incoming first-year students.
- Maintain Google form for placement test registration.
- Assist with the management of placement testing emails.
- Maintain Placement Testing Website.
- Assist with the management of phone calls and other clerical duties.
- Assist with management outreach correspondence.
- Manage OARS students who need accommodations for placement test.

Additional Functions:
-
Ability to work independently and exercise judgment in order to be able to analyze, and investigate ADA related concerns or problems.
- Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of department and university matters.
- May oversee student workers.
- Direct students to the proper location to take exams.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned.

Prerequisite Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, social work, Psychology, or a related field. Knowledge of academic support for STEM majors.
- Qualified candidates must demonstrate knowledge of the issues related to post-secondary academic support, best practices, and innovations.
- Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills and experience working with diverse populations of students.
- Technical skills and the ability to use spreadsheets and university student databases.
- Must be available for some weekends for OARS common exams.
- Must be available on some weekends for placement Testing.
- Must have a basic understanding of Banner, Slate, Canvas, and Mobius to support the onboarding of incoming students.
- At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working in a STEM higher education setting.
