The Commercial Facilities Technician position is responsible for performing with a solid knowledge of various HVAC systems (RTU's, VAV, split systems and the ability to replace a compressor in an AC unit and water source heat pump condenser unit, as well as diagnostic skill set), familiar with building management systems and has general maintenance repair skills (plumbing, electric, carpentry).

We are currently seeking a Commercial Facilities Technician to support our South Jersey programs (Mt. Laurel, Cherry Hill & surrounding areas).

Responsibilities
How You Can Make a Real Impact:

Technical

    Highly skilled technician with solid knowledge in:
    • RTU's, VAV, split systems
    • Replacing a compressor in an AC unit and water source heat pump condenser unit
    • Diagnostic skill set
    • Familiar with building management systems
    • General maintenance repair skills (plumbing, electric, carpentry).
  • 12-15 years of experience working on larger commercial buildings

Teamwork

  • Participate in on-call rotation.
  • Operate and drive company work vehicles from house to work location to transport equipment and materials.
  • Maintain an established schedule.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

Standards

  • Carry out scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance tasks using proven methods.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Follow all safety policies in the Bancroft safety program and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Current pay range for this position is $29.00-$32.90 per hour.

Qualifications

We're Hiring Compassionate Team Members With These Qualifications:

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent
  • A minimum of four years of hands-on experience in facilities and equipment installation, maintenance, repair, and construction operations
  • Successful completion of certified training in skilled and specialized trades preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of one or more building skilled trades, methods, and techniques required, with the ability to safely and properly operate various hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local codes and ordinances pertinent to building maintenance and repair required
  • Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees, external contractors, vendors and suppliers
  • Effective organization, prioritizing, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
