Expected annual base salary range: $118,170 to $175,000

JOB SUMMARY:
The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) supports the WCG Corporate FP&A function. This position will work closely with members of the WCG Corporate and Divisional Finance teams to produce financial reporting and analysis, and complete strategic finance projects. This position serves multiple functions: driving and supporting the overall strategic and tactical processes and administration of the WCG budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycle; coordinating with Divisional FP&A teams to consolidate and report on financial data; supporting SG&A leadership teams to provide thorough insight and analysis into past and future trends; and other ad-hoc projects. This position will be hands-on, requiring the incumbent to develop and own processes and strategies. This position is highly visible among WCG's senior leadership team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The accountabilities listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
  • Lead the strategic and tactical aspects of the annual operating plan, budget process, and recurring forecast updates for the Company, including, administration of forecasting system, coordination and consolidation of FP&A data and analysis, development and maintenance of reporting templates, and effective presentation and communication of results. Directly develop and own processes as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Own the operation and maintenance of the Company's financial reporting system, Workday Adaptive Insights, with support from internal IT staff and external consultants, including, acting as a subject matter expert on the design, workflow, and development of the system; coordinating the ongoing maintenance and improvements of the system, ensuring integrations with our ERP and payroll systems are maintained; working with system users to ensure complete and accurate input information; supporting the finance organization through continued training; and leading the normal monthly roll forward process of the reporting tool.
  • Partner with FP&A and Accounting teams to manage monthly reporting calendar and deliverables. Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including internal reporting packages, Board of Directors' materials, financial statement compilation and review, lender compliance reports and call scripts, and other ad-hoc reporting and modeling.
  • Produce critical weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial dashboards, KPIs, and commentary for senior management using Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools. Coordinate with Divisional teams to complete monthly reporting packets, business reviews, and external reporting packets.
  • Support the Company's multi-year financial planning updates, including development and maintenance of financial models, coordinating with key stakeholders, and the production of executive-level reporting.
  • Partner with SG&A department leads and FP&A teams to provide forecast updates, provide thorough analysis and insights, and support and recommendations into headcount, compensation, and expense planning.
  • Act a change agent in identifying areas of process or policy improvement in financial reporting, either directly owning the implementation or coordinating cross-functionally
  • May indirectly support or lead others through project assignments.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSE/REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • CPA preferred
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in detailed budgeting and forecasting, financial modeling, financial reporting, and KPI & dashboard reporting. Demonstrated ability to rapidly assimilate financial data from disparate systems and databases to produce timely, accurate, and executive-level reporting and analysis.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Workday Adaptive Insights, NetSuite and PowerBI or equivalent systems
  • Exceptional Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Quick learner who is outcome focused, with a strong sense of urgency and instincts to "go the extra mile." Able to thrive in high pressure, deadline-oriented, dynamic environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects to completion while also being hands-on
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow established policies and to make recommended process improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decisions through clear, data-driven analysis and cogent presentation
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment and adapt to change
  • Comfortable presenting financial information to groups
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Overall responsibility of management including direction, coordination, performance, and evaluation of the assigned team and staff. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
