Overview:

This warehouse position involves the timely and accurate reporting of materials movements that transpire daily. The position may include the complete set of transaction activities: picking/staging for sales orders and service depot locations; picking components for production work orders; picking/staging materials for movement to Contract Manufacturers; Receiving Vendor Materials; Receiving Customer RMA returns / Vendor repair returns; issuing materials to Engineering to support Engineering projects or to replenish lab supplies. Packing of products for safe transport and completion of domestic and international shipping documentation. The position also includes involvement in both daily cycle counting and other periodic physical inventory activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the inventory and warehouse policies and procedures currently in place by assisting with completing daily cycle counts (warehouse security, daily warehouse processing, and fiscal period cutoffs)
  • Post inventory transactions daily into SAP in adherence to defined warehouse procedures and work instructions
  • Assist in organizing and moving material to and from off-site warehouses in support of Engineering, as requested
  • Work in concert with other warehouse personnel, quality inspection personnel, and shipping personnel to support the responsive environment required by Operations
  • Participate in the warehouse 5S - workplace organization initiative to ensure that a safe, clean, and well-organized warehouse environment exists at all times
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of material to allow time for Shipping partners to prep freight and have it ready for same-day pick-up
  • Be sure to confirm all necessary information of documents is correct to avoid misplacement of material for processing
  • Remain flexible and be available to shift into multiple areas of the operation to provide support when business needs increase
  • Perform daily assigned cycle counts in support of maintaining a World-Class Inventory percentage of 99.9%
  • Packing and shipping of material to be shipped domestically or internationally

Qualifications:

A High School diploma and at least two years of related experience are required. A license to drive Material Handling equipment (Forklift, Reach Truck, and Stock Picker) is also required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be computer proficient, with prior experience in performing inventory transactions in a computer-based business system
  • Knowledge of inventory controls or related experience in a managed inventory environment is required; SAP experience is highly desirable
  • Experience processing RMA and MRB products, preferred
  • Experience using Excel
  • Comfort in leading regular meetings with management and cross-functional teams
  • Capable of managing tasks while ensuring effective and accurate communication
