Job Description

As a Manager, Procurement Managed at Corcentric, you will join a collaborative team within an ambitious, entrepreneurial global organization. You will lead operational resources and define processes needed to deliver the procurement related services that fall under our technology-enabled managed services. You will ensure a high level of quality and customer satisfaction and continuously look for efficiency opportunities.

This key position reports to the VP, Managed Services within our Professional Services team. We're a dedicated, down-to-earth group in a growing organization offering plenty of opportunity. We look forward to adding you into the mix!

As a Manager, Procurement Operations you'll be responsible for:

  • Overseeing all purchasing and procure-to-order support operations and resources, including supplier on-boarding, tactical sourcing activities, requisition review, and purchase order (PO) monitoring.
  • Managing resources responsible for onboarding of new suppliers and maintaining existing supplier records according to the customer program policy.
  • Managing resources responsible for monitoring purchase requisitions and purchase orders for optimization. For example, improving requisition and PO structure, utilization of static or punch-out catalog, redirection to preferred suppliers or sourcing events.
  • Managing resources responsible for performing spot bid, tactical sourcing for tail spend activity.
  • Understanding customers' performance expectations, and working to normalize, report, and manage internal performance expectations, supporting customer program reporting.
  • Utilizing good purchasing practices, developing processes, and ensuring resources are provided proper training to support identified positions.
  • Documenting policies and procedures needed to ensure consistent delivery of expected business and transactional outcomes.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency of processes and technology
  • Working within the Managed Services team, partnering with Corcentric development and product management teams to define potential improvement solutions.
  • Acting as an escalation point for performance concerns within supported activities, working to ensure all concerns are addressed and appropriate action is taken to communicate resolution and avoid repeat concerns.
  • Influencing customer program scope, process, use of technology and program performance expectations to be in line with Corcentric standards identified to ensure efficient program implementation and steady-state support.
  • Supporting Managed Services customer implementation projects as a key resource to ensure all aspects of the customers program related to supplier onboarding and procurement are understood, operationalized and well-managed.

You'll need to have:

  • Successful career experience in the procurement space
  • Advanced knowledge of procurement business processes and use of procurement technology platforms
  • History of managing a diverse set of functional resources and responsibilities
  • Strong data and analytical skills
  • A forward-thinking mindset, with the ability to innovate and improve processes
