About the Role
BetMGM is currently seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst who will provide subject matter expertise and compensation consulting to People Partners and Business leaders, as well as maintain oversight and ownership of our existing compensation programs across a diverse and growing business. The Senior Compensation Analyst will have the opportunity to grow and shape future compensation strategy while supporting our overall Total Rewards strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Own the process of job analysis, including holistic job evaluation, level analysis, FLSA classification, and market pricing for new positions throughout the company
  • Develop strong partnerships and provide consultation and support to assigned Departments as well as People Business Partners for Compensation decisions and advice
  • Participate in salary survey submission process; analyze survey data and provide recommendations to remain market competitive.
  • Own project planning for year-end programs, including but not limited to merit cycle, short-term incentive planning, and/or LTIP grants and payouts
  • Assist in the execution of the company's annual compensation processes
  • Act as the point of contact for ongoing quarterly compensation incentive programs
  • Manage BetMGM's LTIP program, including grant creation and issuing, maintenance of participant lists, and liaising with our Finance and Payroll teams to coordinate payouts
  • Act as a subject-matter expert in Compensation, cross-functionally aiding the business and suggesting process improvements
  • Complete ad-hoc compensation requests and analyses from People Business Partners and Business leaders
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy, accountability, and integrity in data reporting
  • Process compensation-related transactions, from job and compensation grade creation to approving job and compensation change requests in Workday
  • Participate and own ad-hoc people related projects as needed
Essential Functions
  • Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 - 5 years of progressive experience in Compensation
  • Knowledge of compensation principles, programs, and practices
  • Working knowledge of FLSA exemption rules
  • Strong technical knowledge in Excel including development of spreadsheets with formulas, functions, pivot tables, lookups; knowledge of Macros a plus
  • Ability to manage and lead multiple programs at once
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with high degree of confidentiality and discretion
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail with an ability to present analytical data in an easily understandable format
  • Excellent interpersonal and organization skills
  • Working knowledge of Workday strongly preferred
Licensing Requirements
As an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations. Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies. Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment. Please note that the licensing process includes comprehensive background checks which may include a review of criminal records, financial history, and personal background verification.

Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
