Job Summary:

The Rental Fleet Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Rental Fleet ROI maximization by supporting the Rental Fleet Maintenance Supervisors in their efforts to control and minimize fleet maintenance and repair costs, as well as, repair after rent turnaround.

Essential Functions:

  • Influences effective and consistent productivity and teamwork to ensure the delivery of Legendary Customer Service (LCS)
  • Supports the Rental Fleet Maintenance Supervisors by following up on machine work order directives as assigned
  • Assists the damages department in coordinating quoting activity
  • Provides reporting on machine and work tool maintenance and repair cost
  • Collaborates with the Yard Operation Team as necessary to expedite rental fleet machine turnaround
  • Evaluates work orders for correct coding, ensuring that warranty recovery is maximized
  • Acts as a liaison between sales-related shop personnel and service-related shop personnel
  • Works in conjunction with "eSolutions" and the condition monitoring analyst(s) to schedule and support repairs to minimize cost on the fleet
  • Monitors and reviews store-level scheduling systems (RIFTY) count
  • Works with the CSA department to ensure the fleet PM program is administered
  • Inspects machines in various assigned locations and provides support in machine accident, damage, and abuse situations
  • Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Moderate skills with all Microsoft Office products
  • Interpersonal skills sufficient to engage with customers, vendors, own staff, and separate departments throughout the organization to exchange information, influence, and persuade to achieve company goals
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good organizational, self-management, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
  • Knowledge of safe work policies, procedures, and practices

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair preferred

Travel:

  • 5% travel but not limited to overnight stays

Work Environment:

  • This job is generally performed in a professional office environment
  • Occasionally works outdoors and may be exposed to weather extremes conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity

  • Occasional exposure to noise levels which can be distracting or uncomfortable
  • Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work
