NV5 Architecture aims to expand our Architectural Group based in Parsippany, New Jersey, and is currently seeking a Licensed Project Architect with 10-15 years of experience in Architectural Design, Code Review, and Construction Administration to join our team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career by leading various aspects of project development, including construction drawings, code reviews, and providing support throughout the construction administration phase. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, familiar with the local New Jersey and New York Metro area, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. At NV5, architects collaborate in a multi-disciplinary setting to design public facilities for various agencies and institutions, including but not limited to the NJ DPMC, NJDOT, DEP, MVC, NYCSCA, universities, community colleges, and corporate facilities.

Responsibilities for the Licensed Project Architect include:

Scoping
• Design
• Construction documentation preparation
• Cnstruction administration

The successful candidate will be proficient in generating and overseeing the development of contract documents, possess strong design and technical skills, and have a thorough understanding of materials and building technologies. • Bachelor of Architecture Degree.
• Licensed Architect in NJ and/or NY.
• Minimum 10-15 years of architectural experience.
• Ability to develop, detail, and coordinate projects from programming through construction documents.
• Knowledge of construction drawing standards.
• Experience in building code analysis and reviews.
• Construction field support and representation experience.
• Proficiency in coordinating with outside consultants.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Capability to manage multiple projects of varied type and scale independently.
• Experience with DPMC, NYCSCA, NYC MTA, or related projects is a plus.

The pay range for this position is $110,000.00- $130,000.00 per year; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
