Overview
The Division of Institutional Planning & Operations (IP&O) employs a workforce of approximately 2,700 staff, represented by 15 collective negotiations agreements, and is responsible for institutional strategic initiatives and operations, which encompasses an expansive range of comprehensive service and business operations across the State of New Jersey. These include planning and construction, facilities, public safety and emergency operations, environmental health and safety, transportation, housing, and auxiliary/retail operations.
Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Bike Coordinator for The Rutgers Bike Program- Institutional Planning and Operations Division's Transportation Services Department.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:
  • The Bike Coordinator assists with pick-ups, returns, repairs, and payments. All pickups and returns must be logged into our Bike Program database on a daily basis.
  • Organize all of the bike parts & surplus of 70+ bikes that were previously rented in our bike program.
  • Help transport bikes from our storage location to our rental location.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Certifications/Licenses
  • Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. This position will involve standing for some periods of time when fixing bikes that need repair.
