As the Director of Consulting Services Sales for SAP, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of SAP Services and Solutions in the United States. You'll enjoy the freedom and autonomy to expand a sustainable business across diverse vertical industries. Your strategic vision will drive growth and innovation, positioning Hitachi Digital Services as the go-to SAP solution provider for enterprise customers, nationwide.

Your extensive network in, and deep understanding of, the SAP ecosystem means you'll be adept at identifying, nurturing, and retaining SAP business relationships. By fostering strong connections, you'll elevate Hitachi Digital Services' standing and create lasting value for clients.

Guiding a team of 4 sales executives, you'll be the driving influence behind their success. Your leadership will empower them to exceed targets, deliver exceptional results, and contribute to the overall growth trajectory.

Carrying the bookings target on your shoulders, you'll thrive under pressure. Your ability to strategize, negotiate, and close deals will directly impact the bottom line, making you an indispensable asset.

What you'll do:
  • Utilize your existing network within the SAP community to develop and maintain relationships with SAP and other third parties to uncover opportunities.
  • Develop sales strategies that link customers business drivers to SAP's offerings and Hitachi Digital Services capabilities.
  • Effectively demonstrate and present SAP products and value proposition and Hitachi Digital Services and solutions based on SAP to qualified prospects.
  • Foster and facilitate collaboration between Hitachi Digital Services and the client ecosystem to ensure sales success and customer satisfaction.
What you'll bring
  • A strong relationship with and current network of contacts at SAP.
  • At least 8+ years' experience of selling SAP/HANA ERP services and solutions as a Sales Leader, managing an SAP Mid-Market sales team.
  • Demonstrated experience of selling Data Integration, Analytics, Internet of Things, Big Data, and/or Digital Transformation solutions.
  • Success in guiding and directing sales teams, resulting in hitting or exceeding quota attainment.
  • Experience of working in a large, highly matrixed organization.
As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected compensation for this position is:
  • Tier One Location (New York City and San Francisco Area only):
    • OTE Services Plans - OTE range from $200k - $400k
  • Tier Two Location (including Colorado, Seattle, and the rest of California):
    • OTE Services Plans - OTE range from $200 - $400k
  • Tier Three Location (including the rest of Washington State):
    • OTE Services Plans - OTE range from $200k - $300k
The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara's bonus, sales target incentive or commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
