The Business Analyst- Planning and Consolidation reporting to Senior Finance Analyst- Enterprise Reporting and EPM Support will support Campbell's initiative to build a winning team and culture. Key responsibilities include aiding the corporate and divisional finance teams in monthly close and projection cycles, performing data validations to ensure the integrity of timely financial results, and driving continuous improvement initiatives though system implementations and enhancements. A successful candidate will be required to take ownership of tasks and processes in a fast-paced environment with precise deadlines. Time management and effective prioritization skills are essential to this role. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support Finance by actively managing the planning & consolidation systems via scheduling, reconciling, and other activities related to financial close, projection, and budgeting cycles
  • Analyze current system processes to identify and implement enhancements to drive continuous improvement, automate reporting processes, and document comprehensive technical procedures
  • Responsible for performing data validation and UAT for new reporting deliverables
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to outline goals and objectives, provide actionable insights, and complete value-added processes
  • Monitor Finance requests related to issues and security as applicable
  • Assist in development and maintenance of system implementations
  • Manage schedule of releases and testing for system updates
  • Support XPA/IBP initiatives
  • Ad hoc/special projects as needed

Job Complexity:

  • Responsible for ensuring accurate, complete, and timely validation of financial metrics per company standards and best practices
  • Communicate effectively cross functionally
  • Attain proficiency in Campbell's financial/operational processes and data collection
  • Position requires a strong analytical mindset; strong collaboration skills and excellent problem solving
  • Must be flexible, organized, and capable of performing multiple tasks; comfortable working under strict deadlines; ability to prioritize and shift between tasks on short notice

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, information systems, or related field
  • Limited experience in accounting or finance with an understanding of financial systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication, documentation, and client interface skills

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$47,600-$79,800

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
