IT Operations Manager

Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical IT Operations Manager with our client in their Brick, NJ location. This is a direct hire position and requires being onsite 5 days per week. The salary for this position is $80k - $90k.
Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of our MSP business and providing strategic insight for overall business growth. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the activities a team of 4-6 service technicians, managing project workflows, and collaborating closely with the owner to ensure the smooth functioning and growth of the business.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the activities a team of 4-6 service technicians, managing project workflows, and collaborating closely with the owner to ensure the smooth functioning and growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide management and oversight to service technicians daily activities, ensuring efficient and timely completion of client requests and support tickets.
- When required, coordinate and prioritize technician schedules to optimize resource utilization and meet client service level agreements.
- Act as a liaison between service technicians and clients, ensuring clear communication and resolution of any service-related issues.
- Develop business proposals and associated project estimates/schedules; manage project workflows from initiation to completion, including planning, resource allocation, tracking, and reporting.
- Implement and maintain operational processes and procedures to improve efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
- During project execution, be present on site to monitor service delivery and project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of service technicians, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous learning.
- Work closely with the owner to develop and execute strategic initiatives aimed at business growth and expansion.
- Represent the company professionally in client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in a similar role within the IT services industry, preferably in an MSP environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing service delivery operations and project workflows, meeting service agreements and project deadlines.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and technologies, with the ability to provide technical guidance and support.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of project management tools a plus; IT ticketing software experience is a must.
- Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, Microsoft Certifications, Cisco Certifications or relevant technical certifications are a plus.
- Ability to travel between the main office and site locations within the portfolio and be able to ascend and descend stairs, including comfortability with exposure to varying environmental climates and circumstances.
- Position may be required to perform duties outside their normal responsibilities as needed.
