Overview

As a Web Developer at CQ Partners, you will be a leader in the structuring, maintaining, and facilitating of websites and web-based applications. You will join a team of web developers in producing and managing multiple projects, all aimed at improving the performance and efficiencies of clients' digital brand and presence. You will also assist with internal projects to improve client experience within CQ Partners.

Responsibilities
    Website design, development, & maintenance of customer-branded websites as well as internal applications.
  • Assistance in large scale development projects both for internal efforts and customer use.
  • Continuous evaluation of existing digital programs with a focus on identifying improvements and advancements of current programs and offerings.
  • Optimize performance of web applications and websites.
  • Facilitate customer requests and provide creative solutions to inquiries.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Web Design, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical proficiency with PHP, HTML5, CSS, jQuery/JavaScript, and MySQL.
    • Experience with Linux, Apache, and Batch is a plus.
  • Experience using web tools and technologies including Git/GitHub and WordPress.
  • Experience working with third-party APIs is a plus.
  • Knowledge of how to properly implement accessible and responsive web design into customer-branded websites and applications.
  • Experience implementing analytics code and setting up analytic event tracking using various platforms (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others and independently as necessary.
  • Ability to understand and follow technical processes and timelines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer focused environment.
  • Ability to independently prioritize and contribute to multiple daily projects and tasks.
  • Understanding of SEO trends and best practices is a plus.
