Director, Product Management - Investor Experience
The Products and Platform team at Pershing defines product vision and strategy based on customer needs and the competitive landscape. The team is responsible for the full product lifecycle and works closely with technology and stakeholder groups to achieve business outcomes and provide value to our clients.
Product Managers conceptualize new solutions and "needle moving" enhancements to products and promote the adoption of our solutions across the wide range of Pershing customers globally, including broker dealers, advisors, and investors. Product Managers work with a variety of teams including - Technology, User Experience, Marketing, Compliance, Legal, and Research among others. Product Managers serve as the voice of the customer; they articulate the product vison and strategy, develop competitive research and market analysis, embrace analytics, define benefits, target customers, establish pricing, and promote products both internally and externally.
In addition, leaders in the product organization model behaviours while coaching and mentoring others. Refining the craft, and ensuring their teams maintain the expertise necessary to align with the evolving business expectations for this discipline. Leaders are also involved in client engagements, product demonstrations and sales initiatives.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $125,000 and $273,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and company- sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors."
