Position Overview
The Director, Dental Recruitment, Network Solutions is responsible for the overall strategy and development of the Zelis dental network providers (current and prospective) in an effort to increase the savings achieved for Zelis clients for existing and new products. This role cultivates the organization's overall direct contracted PPO assets to support multiple products and achieve corporate objectives for PPO product viability.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a resource for all providers in a variety of markets, in particular large and key strategic groups and dental service organizations
Serve as a subject matter expert for the Zelis dental network product
Negotiate complex contracts and coach contracting team for network development efficiency.
Execute corporate contracting strategy for multiple product lines (Commercial, Medicare Advantage, etc)
Assist business operations with contract terms and educating company key personnel about such contract terms
Establish strategic relationships with all types of providers, understand the dental network market and foster key relationships
Develop and provide plan support and contracting leadership
Ensure contracting strategy aligns with both access and cost savings requires for Zelis clients
Align with Product team to ensure contracting goals align with objectives of long-term Network Solutions product roadmap items; collaborate with teams to define the acceptance and launch criteria of new dental network products
Develop and communicates network development goals including target acquisitions, claim dollars captured, and revenue achieved
Create and manage tools necessary to capture provider targets, measure performance and provide feedback and recommendations to executive team
Recruit, coach and mentor Network Development team
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any discipline, Business or Healthcare is preferred
10+ years of experience in a dental and/or group health network product management
5+ years of experience with provider contracting/negotiations, network development and configuration, standards for dental networks and dental network contracting
Preferred Qualifications
Leadership ability with cross-functional teams, knows how to get things done both through formal channels and the informal network
Ability to understand and prioritize provider challenges, while proactively finding solutions to solve those challenges
Excellent analytical skills with data and analytics related solutions
Strong organization and project / process management skills
Good negotiation, problem solving, planning and decision-making skills
Proven ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills and the ability to solve complex problems
