THE JOB:

It is the primary responsibility of the HVAC Mechanic to maintain and repair all equipment and to assist in the daily operations and activities which they have been assigned and provide administrative and technical support as directed by department management.

THE STARTING RATE: $30.78

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Maintain and repair all equipment related to the successful operation of compressors, refrigeration equipment, generators and all equipment that is driven by electricity, gas, air, diesel, water or any other power developing energy which has to do with or is related to the operation of all mechanical and HVAC equipment

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems on HVACR equipment

  • Complete work orders

  • Walk daily routes and make necessary repairs

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Five (5) years relevant HVACR experience

  • Experience working in a similar resort setting

  • Able to use diagnostic tools, such as but not limited to: Amp Meters, Voltmeters, OHM meters, compound gauges and pressure gauges etc.

  • Able to work from blueprints and schematics, and interpret manufactures guidelines for the operation and maintenance and related equipment

  • General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, money handling

  • Knowledgeable of hand power tools

  • Proficient at inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, and installing HVACR equipment

  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms

  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
