About BNY Mellon Advisors:

BNY Mellon Advisors is a unique business within BNY Mellon which focuses on asset allocation, portfolio construction, manager research, and alternatives within a OCIO context as well as asset management context. The business constructs and manages multi-asset, multi-manager investment strategies using both proprietary and third-party investment strategies.

In addition, the team also acts as a discretionary, or non-discretionary, provider to asset owners on a global basis across institutional, intermediary, and family office channels. The business works across all of BNY Mellon and its affiliates and subsidiaries including, but not limited to, Global Distribution, Pershing, Asset Servicing, and the various investment affiliates of BNY Mellon. BNY Mellon Advisors design and implement investment strategies that are bespoke to client needs and objectives using a myriad of asset classes, investment strategies, and overlays.

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Product Manager - Hedge Funds and Liquid Alternatives at Vice President level to join our BNY Mellon Advisors team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA - HYBRID.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

• Supporting the expansion and successful implementation and delivery of hedge fund and liquid alternative investments, including hedge funds, public real estate, commodities, managed futures, alternative credit and exchange funds
• Coordinating product management, development and strategy for assigned hedge fund and liquid alternative solutions
• Independently managing the development, onboarding, and ongoing support of assigned products by working closely with client advisors, Operations, Technology, Legal, Risk, and Compliance to ensure requirements are met
• Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of assigned products, the marketplace and client needs to support product adoption

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

• Bachelors degree required and progress towards MBA, CFA, and/or CAIA preferred
• General knowledge of hedge fund and liquid alternative strategies
• 5-7 years of total work experience preferred
• Experience in product management, operations, client management, or portfolio construction preferred
• An independent thinker and self-starter who can execute product strategy and drive solution adoption and a strong communicator who can interact well with teammates, advisors, clients, and other stakeholders.
